Yes, it's summer vacation time and this year I'm taking an extended vacation. I'm celebrating a milestone service anniversary with the company I work for, so I decided to take extra time off :) Of course that affects the comic update schedule :(
Part of my vacation will be spent here in Ottawa, and, of course, back in Saskatchewan.
Here's the summer vacation update schedule. We pretty much go to a two week interval:
Tuesday, July 22nd - No comic
Tuesday, July 29th - "Faces" special
Tuesday, Aug 12th - "Faces" special
Tuesday, Aug 26th - "Faces"/vacation special
Tuesday, Sept 9th - back to our regular programming
I'm trying to work on updating the website during my vacation. I'm going to try to work on a "how its done" section and a history of how I started the comic including some old sketches. I can't promise anything for sure, but I hope there will be time to get this added before I leave for 'toon town (Saskatoon). I'll post any changes here in the blog.
We're back on schedule again :)
Just in time for vacation :(
I'll be publishing the vacation schedule soon.
NOT AGAIN!!!!
My sister and her husband are visiting this week and I'm sooooooo far behind on my drawing that there will be NO comic next week. Sorry. We will pick up where we left off starting Tuesday, July 8th.
See you then.
In EP304, Dave states he already knows the nutritional facts of bubble gum. Are there any nutritional facts for bubble gum? I often wonder why they put nutritional facts on candy. It's candy, there *is* no nutrition in candy.
Last week a former boss of mine died of brain cancer. He was only 54. He was a great guy. It was far too soon for him to go. "Good Night Mr. Gagne, wherever you are"
Poor Dave, he can't last 10 minutes without his PDA in EP303. Some people are like that in real life. I'm amazed that people use their PDA's when they're in the bathroom at work. You can hear the little "bleep, bloop, bleep" coming out from the stall (instead of the usual sounds). Those are definitely people making themselves waaaaaay too busy.
This last monday was Victoria Day in Canada, so I enjoyed a long weekend. It's the unofficial start of summer. Yay.
I had a great time with my Mom at the Tulip Festival last week. We had pretty good weather and the flowers were beautiful.
We now continue with EP301 where Dave is trying to deal with the loss of his PDA.
